The eligible candidate will join Kearfott Guidance & Navigation’s product development and support team during the summer of 2024. • As an Engineering Intern, your responsibilities will encompass the engineering assessment, analysis, and design of guidance and navigation systems for missiles, aircraft, and ground vehicles.
• Key tasks include:
  • Assisting in coordinating and developing engineering solutions.
  • Researching and specifying requirements for components and systems.
  • Extracting technical data from test data and analyses.
  • Advocating for engineering solutions during internal reviews.
• Additional tasks may involve conducting trade studies, engaging in project planning, performing system modeling, reviewing technical and management data, assessing performance, identifying problems, and planning and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaboration with engineering teams to comprehend and evaluate the impacts of changes in system requirements and designs is a key aspect of the role.
• This includes providing support for design trade studies to assess cost and effectiveness, contributing to the development of computer codes for the evaluation of mathematical models, and creating graphics to visually represent analysis results.
