IPG Photonics Engineering Summer Internship 2024: Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and clients to prepare system quotations and conduct runoff tests, involving lead engineering, software development, process refinement, and robot programming.
- Develop PLC and controls programming for both standard products and customized equipment.
- Debug workcell operations to ensure full functionality and safety, liaising with team members as needed.
- Assess and implement new applications for emerging technologies, enhancing Genesis’ value proposition in the automation sector.
- Document and organize procedures for process equipment interfacing.
- Oversee system startups at client facilities, striving for maximum performance and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in multiple projects at varying stages of completion.
