Hasbro Game Designer Summer Internship 2024: Description
Throughout a 10-week duration, we invite a carefully chosen cohort of college and university students to join our team, where they will acquire invaluable work experiences and insights into our most thrilling products. Interns will actively engage with our cherished Wizards’ brands, participating in day-to-day training, hands-on projects, exposure to executives, individual development planning, and mentorship opportunities. And yes, did we mention we have a Dragon? Bring your unlimited imagination and boundless curiosity to our party!
Our program is scheduled to run from June 10 to August 16, 2024.

Hasbro Game Designer Summer Internship 2024: Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about card files, construct decks, and evaluate interactions among cards.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with Design Leadership to enhance individual card designs, deck themes, and ultimately, create incredibly enjoyable gameplay experiences.
- Contribute actively to Game Design teams across various sets.
- Engage in team meetings and discussions by offering constructive, thoughtful, and thought-provoking contributions to the conversation.
Hasbro Game Designer Summer Internship 2024: Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution with at least one quarter or semester remaining after August 2024.
- Able to commit to full-time hours for 10 weeks at our Southport office.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- Possess at least 1 year of experience in game design/development, including academic or personal projects or professional work.
- Familiarity with Magic/TCG design and a strong passion for Game Design.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, curiosity, and creative thinking.
- Effective communication skills, with a positive and energetic demeanor to enhance our collective vision.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a continuous thirst for knowledge.
